  1. This was good! Even agree with some reviews, fully!

  2. That was great. I was struggling to keep up until I remembered I was watching on 1.5 speed.

  3. Haha! I guess I like area control (with words)!

  4. To cater to short attention spans I'll just say "Brilliantly creative"!

  5. So damn good. Best wishes with the family expansion!

  6. a) That was hilarious and kind of awesome. Also remarkably informative.

    b) Congratulations!!

  7. Who says we have short attention span!!? … I'll give them a piece of my .. something. God im hungry, maybe I'll go for Tacos, Fun fact did you know tacos means light lunch? , Im bored, could go bird watching this afternoon… wait what I was talking about?

  8. Absolutely amazing! Congratulations on the new addition to the family.

  9. My wife and I are expecting our first baby in two weeks as well! Best of luck to you. Love this channel.

  10. I laughed for two minutes forty five seconds.
    You're a bloody genius.

  11. Congratulations! Prepare for the most tired you will ever be, but also the happiest.

  12. "A way to figure it out which of your friends doesn't understand metaphors" Totally!
I feel my "retain information" span is too short for so much in such short time. Maybe I should try it again in 1.5speed ahaha
2 weeks for the new come? Fingers cross everything will go smoothly! Enjoy it now and talk to you in a few months 😉

  13. Next up: Femtosecond boardgames!

Remember the infodump you got at the end of 90s TV shows, where you'd have to record it then play the tape back and pause at the right second to read the bit you wanted to read? I feel like I just saw one of those.

  14. Baby will wreck your channel. Good Luck. Good health.

  15. Awesome. Favorite: Mysterium…"Way to find out which of your friends doesn't understand metaphors" (Though Scrabble was a close second.)

  16. This was brilliant and made laugh! Thanks for the 3 minute reviews – they work really well and are a great way to gain an overview quickly 😊

  17. Baby 1 = 50% less free time, Baby 2 = 90% less free timen Baby 3 … I don't want to know.

  18. Well done!!! Children are great I've got two daughters but even the best that comes out of all that is grandkids. I've got two granddaughters. oh so much funI use them as an excuse for not getting to play more games, actually I'm just lazier (more tired) in my old age

  19. Loved this!!!! Congrats on the new addition to your family!!! 🥰

  20. Wonderful! Actually 100 games in the video!
Amazing! And definitely a good reference!!!

  21. 4:01 – Conquest of Paradise is really interesting! Thanks for the review!

  22. Congratulations for the baby on it's way!

  23. Fantastic video!! And best of luck for the big event. BTW we are open even to 3 min review of pacifiers 😀 Joke aside, you take care, take it easy. We'll be here. You know where to find us.

  24. Absolutely the best "video from which I learned nothing". 🙂

  25. This seals the deal – I absolutely cannot wait for sleep-deprived new-parent 4 hour long incoherent rambling review of Splendor! Please set up a preview link so I can like it already.

  26. Tales of Arabian Nights.
One of my favourite games ever.
And you described it perfectly, nothing is amiss.

  27. My only feedback is that for your nanosecond review series, you only post half or quarter of the picture next time. I didn’t have the attention span nor the intellect to take in all those pixels. It’s a little too much information and I’d think your videos would benefit from some needed trimming. I’d hate to have to go to a different channel for my board game reviews. Just my thoughts 🙂

  28. I love this so much! Thank you! And also…quite a few of these 3 second reviews are actually giving me a good sense 😛

  29. Yes, yes I get it Puerto Rico has a controversial theme. I get it. But why the disconnect with other historical themes like Hadrian's wall? What the Romans did to the Britains and Caledonian people was atrocious. Perhaps conquest is ok but not colonization… Or dare I say perhaps it's ok if people of colour aren't involved. How often should the board game thought police be released? I am genuinely curious. There are plenty of games with historical themes that involve horrible atricities that people just gloss over. What measuring tool is used to pick and choose which theme is more wrong than the other? What is the criteria? Is it a vogue matter? A woke matter?

    Great video btw.

  30. Congrats dude! On the babie & the channel 🤘

  31. Feel like I should protest the Archipelago review but… yeah that’s basically it.

E: Going through more of your reviews and understanding a bit more about your feelings about colonial themed games (esp. Archipelago with its depiction of Pacific Islanders.). I’ll say mechanically Arch tries to stand on the side of stuff like Endeavour & John Company, but the artistic style didn’t go for any kind of nuance and hurts the game.

  32. The problem with this is that I usually listen to reviews in the background while doing something else, but with this I actually had to focus 100% on what you were saying. I haven’t done that in years; it felt strange.

  33. Finally a video that had my boyfriend's attention the whole time 😂😂😂

  34. By far the best lol!

Congratulations to you both on the baby!!!

  35. I hope you enjoyed our 1 April video. And if you are curious about the last 19 reviews (scroll down)

They are legitimately recorded content, its just played 33.33 times faster, so utterly and totally useless as content. Which is the final point of the story. I chose 3 minutes because I think that's an ideal amount of time to be accessible, but also provide you with plenty of legitimate information. The more you trim, the less useful it gets to the point where its just nonsense. The original of that section will go up on patreon as patron only content. Trust me, you aren't missing much.
