  1. It's pronounced "Inish". It means "Island" if anyone cares.

Also, It's Fionn mac Cumhailll. Pronounced "F-yunn Mac Cool".

  2. That board is ugly and a very weird choice

  3. Played this finally, today. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Those tiny plastic men on the table worked really hard.

    Brilliant.

  4. I love this game! So much fun. I think what I like most is that it's simple – but with a deep strategy that only becomes apparent as you get used to the cards.

  5. Hi! I own and love Kemet and i want to buy either Inis or Cyclades. Which one do you prefer? Do you still rate Inis above Cyclades as you said in the end of the video or not? Thank you!

  6. This game is a true masterpiece even 3 years later this is definitely my gaming group's favorite game. And this review was a big part of me even giving this a go. Thanks guys.

  7. Best opening 30 seconds ever haha. Thanks for the review!

  8. Paul is so awesome. Pity he left the team.

I hope he does a guest spot

  9. Finally played this for the first time. Boy it is so good

  10. I might be in the minority here, but I dislike the colour scheme. Even worse, the logo and box art seem like people who have problems distinguishing red and green will have a hard time.

  11. The art direction in this game is really compelling and unique.

  12. had Stonehenge in my first game. I used it and instantly broke the game leading to my victory.

  13. The name "Inis" makes me think of the crunchy, caramely mouth feal D's perfectly salted nuts.

  14. For those watching this not native speakers of the old Irish language known by non-Irish people as Gaelic, the word inis means Island, and it’s actually pronounced Inn-ish.

  15. Awesome Limits of control poster in the background

  16. Too bad they didn't like bloodrage, i am sure they could have made some interesting comparisons.
At this point, Blood Rage is the better game for me between kemet /cyclade/bloodrage

  17. These two are just the best. So entertaining.

  18. Awesome review. Coming to my little home soon.
The bad thing is that they changed the box's artwork. 🙁 (9-2019)

  19. "Should we talk about the red and yellow cards" never actually talks about the yellow cards.

    You sirs, are frauds

  20. "marriage has changed you, and quite substantially" HAHAHAHAHAHA

  21. Paul and Quintin had such a good chemistry, I miss them doing reviews together.

  22. This game is one of my favourites and i just picked up the expansion. Honestly I think it makes the game better in every way! More epic but the seas stop player having a map between them, seasons change things up round to round, and adding a 5th player just works.

  23. Funny enough, this is the one from that trilogy that does not appeal me

  24. Played it again tonight and this game has taken over as my 2nd favorite game…. It's incredible.

  25. Guys: Inis or Bloodrage? I'll looking to buy one.

  26. Another great thing that they didn't even mention is how easy it is to set up the game and pack it up again and how little space it takes up. To start a game, its 3 terrain pieces, 2 minis for each player, and you ready to draft! Yay! This ease and lack of table space required is what often makes me choose Inis over other boardgames on most occasions.

  27. Just played this for the first time tonight and it was awesome. 5 player game takes a looong time however so be prepared. Eventually everyone let me win because of how late it was, but next time we will play with more time available cuz its that good you don't want to stop. Plus I'm Irish so its even cooler. Alrighty peace.

  28. Damn anyone know where I can find this in the U.S.

  29. "Is it in your pants?" As much as I love this guy, whenever I see him in a video I am very very worried that I'll see him naked with a teddy bear again.

  30. A little late here lol. Is this game good with 2 players at all?

  31. I see a lot of the illustrations are from Jim Fitzpatrick. He did some great Irish story books. He also did some cover art for Thin Lizzy and he did the Che poster.

  32. Anything that good or better since? If it surpasses Kemet and Cyclades then I don't have to get them, it's perfect.

  33. Great review! Its January 8th 2021 and I'm sitting down to my first game of Inis. This review is great and helpful. Thanks guys!

  34. I wonder: Is the "fetival" really a truce? Because in my box – which I just bought used in very good condition because of this review AND LOVE IT – the festival card says "the attacker loses one miniature when attacking"

  35. 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

  36. I been so hype for this game, i just had to buy it for a price way higher than it should be, i don't know why but it's kinda hard to find it, finally played it with my friends and… It blew our minds, it's really really good, totally worth it.

  37. Talking about mispronunciation… It's pronounced "inish", i.e. the -s at the end is pronounced like -sh.
